Dan doesn't get too excited about celebrating his birthday so this year I thought I would get excited about celebrating it. I gave him little gifts with notes throughout the week that I had hidden so he never knew when they were coming. The theme for this idea was a few of my favorite things. Then on his birthday we went out to eat at one of his favorite places, hit a bucket of balls, and had his favorite pie, coconut cream, in the back of our van over looking the valley with some of his favorite music playing. It was so enjoyable to just spend that time together and talk without any interruptions. I hope he felt that I think he is the greatest and one of my favorite things. Love you sweetie!

we haven't seen your blog for a long time! What a fun date night to eat some pie and play some golf. Sweet! bryan says that is why him and dan got along because they are simple easy going guys!
